Remote End Unit (REU)

   
 

ZigSense wireless remote end-point nodes model ZS24-REU are designed to monitor and control physical and environmental parameters.

Each REU contains input and output (IO) points or internal sensor. Different REU models contain different IO combinations.

ZigSense REU is a low power device. It is normally powered by an external 12VDC power source.

An internal Lithium battery provides backup power for a number of IO and internal functions.

To conserve battery power the wireless node utilises a pre-defined SLEEP & WAKE-UP optimised cycle.

Data sampled by the remote (REU) nodes is ‘PUSHED’ towards the gateway (CGU) whenever a the node is in its WAKE state.
